Instrumental Technique Classes

As part of the core curriculum, students work in small groups with an experienced teacher on their instrument. In these classes students learn technique and repertoire, and practice playing in a small ensemble. All classes perform at two assemblies and at Performathon. The classes are designed to accommodate students who are taking private lessons, whether the student is enrolled in Merit’s Private Lesson Program or enrolled elsewhere.
