Merit’s Music Explorers Program supports your child’s first steps in a lifetime journey of musical exploration and appreciation. Our programs provide a learning environment that is playful, developmentally appropriate and musically rich. Adult participation in the program enables children and parents or caregivers to share the joy of making music. The emphasis of our Early Childhood Program is on the process, not results, which allows for a comfortable and positive experience for each student.

Our faculty members are experienced in both music and child development.

Journeys: Weekly Music Classes

Merit’s early childhood music curriculum incorporates song, chant, movement exercises and guided listening to develop children’s imaginations, musical awareness and expressiveness.

Voyages: Story Hours

Our interactive story hours are designed to promote musical development and encourage literacy. Pre-registration is required. Story hours are most appropriate for ages two to five. Please check back soon for 2007 – 2008 dates!

Discovery Family Concerts

Musical Birthday Parties
