Music Time I
Ages: 3 ½ - 5 years

Singing, moving, listening, and playing simple instruments are all part of this musical
exploration. Music theory concepts, musical games, dances, language and literacy development
all play a large part in the class. Musical activities follow seasonal rhythms and encourage
imagination, vocabulary, symbolic thinking, coordination and social skills while cultivating
a life-long love of music. Parents or caregivers are actively involved in the class, which is
presented in two non-sequential semesters.
Class Schedule
- Wednesday: 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm
- Thursday: 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm
Tuition
$210, plus a $15 registration fee.
Music Time II
Ages: 5 - 7 years
Songs, musical games and dances are used to emphasize the joy of making music while creating
a strong musical foundation in this year-long class. Your child will be introduced to
instrument families, sing, learn to read notes and rhythms, and learn to play glockenspiel, a
pre-keyboard instrument. Music theory concepts are explored in fun, imaginative, multi-sensory
ways. Family members or caregivers join the children for the last part of the class. Regular
weekly homework reinforces concepts introduced in class. This class is recommended as a
pre-requisite or co-requisite to our Dynamic Starts beginning instrument program.

- Thursday: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
