In keeping with Merit's mission, significant financial aid is available for qualified students. Availability of financial aid varies by program. Financial aid is awarded on a sliding scale based on proof of income and other supporting documents. In order to apply for financial aid, please submit the following:
  • A completed application

  • A copy of your 2006 —1040 federal tax form, proof of unemployment, proof of social security or medical card

  • An explanation of any other extenuating circumstances the financial committee should be aware of (optional)

Merit also awards a number of special scholarships in partnership with other organizations:

  • Windows Scholarship: Children under the age of 18, living in CHA or Section 8 housing, may be eligible for this scholarship.

  • Pathways to Development: Children under the age of 18, living in foster care, may be eligible to receive scholarships through a partnership with Pathways to Development.
