Music Programs

Merit School of Music offers a full range of music classes and private lessons for children and adults. In addition to instrumental and vocal instruction, our students have the opportunity to practice and perform in chamber music ensembles, jazz ensembles, and Latin inspired string ensembles.

Our programs are offered on-site at our Joy Faith Knapp Music Center in Chicago's West Loop and also at 70 off-site locations through our Bridges: Partners in Music outreach program.

On-site Programs at the Joy Faith Knapp Music Center

At our 40,000 sq.ft., state-of-the art Joy Faith Knapp Music Center in Chicago's West Loop, we offer a sequential continuum of instrumental and vocal instruction for students of all ages and all levels of musical ability.

In-Schools Program
