PERFORMATHON 2012 SUPPORTS MERIT STUDENTS!
All proceeds support Merit School of Music's programming including the Alice S. Pfaelzer Tuition-free Conservatory:
Each year, approximately 350 students, ages 9-18, engage in a rigorous and progressively challenging music education curriculum that runs 26 weeks, on Saturdays, from October through May.
The nationally recognized curriculum includes theory, instrumental, vocal techniques and ensemble training, an extensive Honors Program, as well as performance competitions/scholarships and "preparing for college" workshops.
Admission to the program is based on audition only, and offers an average of $2,500 of tuition-free music instruction to each student annually. More than half of our students are from low-income families.
